37th Annual Public Way of the Cross

The 37th Annual Public Way of the Cross took place on Good Friday, April 3, 2026, drawing thousands from across the Archdiocese of Winnipeg for a morning of prayer and reflection. Beginning at St. Edward the Confessor Church, participants gathered for this longstanding tradition and walked together in a two-kilometre procession through the surrounding neighbourhood.

Along the route, meditations were said at each of the 14 Stations of the Cross, inviting participants to reflect more deeply on Christ’s Passion and sacrifice.

The annual Public Way of the Cross continues to be a powerful witness of faith, unity, and hope within our archdiocesan community.
