The Archdiocese of Winnipeg is situated on the traditional lands of Treaty One, Treaty Two, Treaty Four, and Treaty Five territories, as well as the National Homeland of the Red River Métis people. We operate on the traditional lands of the Anishinaabeg, Ininew, Dakota, Anisininew, and Dene peoples. In the spirit of truth, reconciliation, and collaboration, we honour our relationship with Indigenous Peoples and respect the contributions of history, culture, and language of Canada’s original peoples.
