Marriage Milestone Anniversary Celebration

On November 16, 2025, the Archdiocese of Winnipeg came together in a spirit of thanksgiving to celebrate the Holy Eucharist and to honour the sacred gift of marriage.

In collaboration with the Marriage and Family Life Commission, we joyfully recognized 39 couples marking milestone anniversaries, from 10 years of shared life to more than 60 years of enduring love.

This beautiful celebration reminded us of the richness of the marital vocation, a journey woven with joy and laughter, challenges and sacrifices, and above all, grace. It is a path walked hand in hand with God and strengthened by the support of the Church community.

We offer heartfelt gratitude to Archbishop Murray Chatlain for presiding at the Mass, to the Sharing God’s Gifts campaign for sustaining ministries like Marriage and Family Life, and to Fr. Robert Polz and the parish community of St. John XXIII for their generous hospitality. Most importantly, we honour the couples whose steadfast love and Christian witness continue to inspire and uplift our Archdiocese.

Following the Mass, families and friends gathered in the parish hall for light refreshments and fellowship, a time to share stories, laughter, and the joy of community.
