Towards Reconciliation: A Gathering of the St. James- Assiniboia Community

The Social Awareness Committee of St. Ann Parish invites you to Gathering 9 in its series exploring the history and legacy of the First Peoples of St. James–Assiniboia.

Join Ray “Co-Co” Stevenson and the Walking Wolf drummers, singers, and dancers for a Pow-Wow demonstration and teachings on Saturday, July 11, from 6:30–8:30 p.m. at the Assiniboia Residential School grounds (Fontaine Park), 615 Academy Road, Winnipeg.

This free event is open to everyone. Casual dress is encouraged, and light refreshments will be provided. The event is co-sponsored by the Assiniboia Residential School Legacy Group and the St. Ann Social Awareness Committee.
