Rite of Election

At the Rite of Election, the Archbishop summons the Catechumens (those seeking Baptism) to the Easter Sacraments in the name of the whole Church. Also, candidates for Full Communion (those who were already baptized in another Christian tradition and are seeking to enter full communion with the Catholic Church through the sacraments of Confirmation and the Eucharist) along with their sponsors, are invited to attend the Rite of Election. His Grace will acknowledge their presence as a group.
