Permanent Diaconate Ordinations

The Archdiocese of Winnipeg invites you to join us for the Ordination Mass of six men to the Permanent Diaconate.⁠

On Friday, June 26, 2026, at 7:00 PM, Archbishop Murray Chatlain will ordain:⁠

• Mark Coates (St. Vital Parish)⁠
• Quirino Gille (St. Ann’s Parish)⁠
• Paul Human (Notre Dame Parish, Selkirk)⁠
• Ernesto Samiana (St. Anthony of Padua Parish)⁠
• Jose Vasquez (St. Patrick’s Parish)⁠
• Maui Zamora (St. Edward’s Parish)⁠

The Ordination Mass will take place at St. Mary’s Cathedral at 7 PM, with a reception to follow in the Parish Hall.⁠

We also ask for your prayers for Rick DeBin of St. Helen’s Parish, Shoal Lake, who will be ordained to the Permanent Diaconate on July 17, 2026, at 7 PM at St. Augustine’s Parish in Brandon.⁠
