Medical Assistance in Dying
Please join us at St. Ignatius Parish on March 1st from 1 pm to 2:30 for an educational session on medical assistance in dying. This event will take place in the church.
The educational presentation will be provided by Professor Mary J. Shariff, Professor of Law, University of Manitoba and Director, Master of Human Rights Program. The presentation will be followed by an ethics case facilitated by Katarina Lee-Ameduri, Director of Ethics for the Reseau Compassion Network and Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Manitoba.
The case will include a panel discussion with Professor Mary J. Shariff (Faculty of Law, University of Manitoba) and Anna-Marie Bogdan (RN, BN). The event is hosted by Fr. Daryl Miranda, S.J. (Pastor of St. Ignatius parish).
