Deacon Retreat

A special Deacon Retreat will be held on February 13-15, 2026, at St. Charles Retreat Centre, 323 St. Charles St., in Winnipeg. This year’s retreat will feature S. Lesley Sacouman, a Sister of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary, known for her decades of service and leadership in ministries that empower youth, women in recovery, and newcomers. She co-founded Rossbrook House, initiated Esther House, and helped establish Holy Names House of Peace. The theme of the retreat is Dilexi Te, I Have Loved You, inspired by an apostolic appeal begun by Pope Francis and completed by Pope Leo IV. For more information, access the event poster.
