Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Level 1 Course Part A & B Starts this Fall

We are joyful to announce that the Archdiocese of Winnipeg Office of Catechetics & Faith Development and St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church, in partnership with the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Association of Canada, will offer the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Level 1 Course (Parts A & B) this Fall.

The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is a Christian catechetical program for children aged 3-12. It is rooted in Scripture and the Liturgy of the Church and inspired by Maria Montessori’s principles of education. The program aims to foster a personal relationship with God.

The methodology aims to help children develop a deep and meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ, the Good Shepherd, through a retreat-like atmosphere and developmentally appropriate materials.

Part A 2025: Oct. 18-19, Nov. 29-30, Dec. 13-14, 2026.07.L1B.12
Part B 2026: Jan.17-18, Feb. 21-22, April 18-19
Schedule: Saturdays at 8:30 am – 4:00 pm, Sundays at 8:30 am – 5:00 pm

Regular Tuition:

$400 per part for Members
$490 per part for Non-Members
$30/day Refresh / Update for members only and those who already hold a Level 1 certificate
$30/day  Make-up day (for members only) is for days missed on a previous level 1 course
