Archbishop Leads Confirmation Candidates to Eucharistic Adoration

Music and the quiet of internal prayer filled the churches as youth from the Archdiocese of Winnipeg were introduced to Eucharistic Adoration by Archbishop Chatlain at the 2026 Archdiocesan Confirmation Rallies, the majority for the first time. The distractions of the outside world were left outside the church doors as the Candidates were invited to have personal, internal conversations with Our Lord. Many of the youth later reflected that this was the highlight of the day.

Archbishop Chatlain invited the youth to identify and explore their interests as passions that might help them better understand themselves and their purpose in life. The pizza lunch was another highlight, which was in thanks to the generous support of the Archdiocese programs.

The Candidates were able to meet Archbishop Chatlain ahead of their Confirmations, where he will now be considered as a familiar face. Thank you to the parishes of Holy Rosary, Immaculate Conception, and St. Dominic’s for hosting and to all the parishes that offered to host as well. Lastly, thank you to the clergy, parish staff, catechists, volunteers, and parents/guardians for your support.
