March for Life, Thursday, May 11

Mass at St. Mary's Cathedral at 10:30 a.m. followed by a walk (1.2 km) to the Legislative Grounds for a peaceful pro-life rally at 11:45 am. The three Archbishops will be joining us as we hear testimonies and join in prayer, concluding at 1 p.m. This is a national event that takes place in all of Canada's major cities at the same time, on the same day.

Mass for Life, Monday, May 15 at 7 p.m.

St. Vital Church, 1629 Pembina Highway, Winnipeg

Praying of the Rosary at 6:30 p.m. The Mass for Life is an annual Eucharistic Celebration for all of life from conception to natural death. This year the Mass for Life is hosted by the Archdiocese of Winnipeg, Archbishop Richard Gagnon presiding. All are welcome!

Into the Breach - Event for Men: Tuesday, May 16

A call to battle! All Catholic men (husbands, fathers and sons, grandfathers and widowers, priests and deacons, young men in preparation for your vocation ...), you are invited to this interactive video presentation, sponsored by the Knights of Columbus. This evening is designed to inspire you to:

  • Engage in the Spiritual battle and struggle for virtue and excellence
  • Develop your interior life of prayer needed to live fully as a Christian man
  • Learn to deal with the breaches of our society that are in great need of courageous engagement

The presentation will be taking place on Tuesday, May 16 at 7 pm at Saints-Martyrs-Canadiens parish hall, 289 Dussault Ave in Winnipeg. Click here for a poster.

Biblical Perspectives - Sex & Love in Marriage: Wednesday, May 17

Come and learn more about God's revolutionary plan of joy and love for your relationship! (Make it a date night!) Refreshments and chocolate fondue will be served. The workshop is sponsored by the Marriage, Family and Life Team at St. Timothy Parish. It is designed for couples, but open to everyone. The event will be taking place on Wednesday, May 17 at 7 pm, at the parish of St. Timothy, 135 John Forsyth Rd. Click here for a poster.

'The Joy of Love' - Event for Young Adults: Thursday, May 18

Young adults (18+) are invited to an evening of discussion on dating, love, and our Christian call. The theme of the evening: 'The Joy of Love: Sex, What's Love Got to Do With It?'. A time of fellowship and pizza will follow. The event will be taking place on Thursday, May 18 at 7 pm, at the Kateri Hall in the Pastoral Centre of the Archdiocese of St. Boniface, 622 Tache Ave. Click here for a poster.
